Event programme announced for Huntingdonshire Business Fair

An inspiring programme of guest speakers has been announced for Huntingdonshire's biggest B2B networking event which returns to Wood Green Animal Shelter in April.

Highlights will include expert advice on how to build a strong brand and an award-winning business through growth and acquisition with Tony Larkins of Beacon Wealth Management and Jeffrey Mills Solicitors. Business owners and directors will also discover how to connect with target markets overseas as UKTI offer advice on how to take first steps towards identifying potential for business growth abroad.

Sponsored by Alconbury Weald, the event showcases over 110 local companies each year and will also include two free speed networking sessions to facilitate connections between some of the 550 visitors expected to attend.

Tim Leathes, Development Director of Urban&Civic, the owners and developers of Alconbury Weald said:
"This is an exciting time for the Huntingdonshire economy, with real opportunities for growth and collaboration across the rich diversity of innovative local companies. With at least three new companies arriving at Alconbury Enterprise Campus over the course of the next 12 months, and a £10m skills centre for local manufacturing and engineering companies, we are working with partners to play our part in ensuring Huntingdonshire is one of the best places in the country to do business.

“With new homes being built at Alconbury Weald and the successful launch of the EDGE jobs and skills partnership, we also know we can make a real difference in working with businesses to enhance and develop the local skilled workforce of the future.”

The annual event is organised by Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce and the Federation of Small Businesses.
